At Friendly Forest, we provide a nurturing, home-like environment where your child feels safe, loved, and valued. Our team of dedicated and certified Early Childhood Educators is deeply passionate about fostering your child’s growth, learning, and well-being. We believe in working closely with families to ensure a seamless transition between home and daycare routines, whether it’s starting childcare, toilet training, feeding, or other developmental milestones.
Our outdoor area at Friendly Forest offers a beautiful, fenced backyard with soft turf and a variety of play equipment, providing a safe and fun space for your child to explore and be active. In addition to the backyard, we are fortunate to have a large adjoining field where children can play, learn, and explore in a wide-open space. On sunny days, we also take advantage of the city walking trails surrounding the daycare, offering children the opportunity for long walks and nature exploration. This combination of outdoor spaces ensures that children have plenty of room to grow, socialize, and enjoy the fresh air!
For families with school-age children, we offer convenient transportation to Baturyn School, St. Charles School, and Bishop Greschuk School through our Out of School Care program.
With 25 years of experience and the same committed owner, Friendly Forest is a trusted childcare provider. Our Director has been with us for 15 years, and many of our educators have long tenures, which speaks to the stable and supportive environment we offer.
Each day, we provide two healthy snacks and a hot lunch to children up to kindergarten age. Children in our Out of School Care program enjoy a morning snack before school and an afternoon snack when they return.
We are here for your family Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 5:45 PM. Friendly Forest is not just a childcare center – it’s a place where children thrive and families feel supported.
