At Friendly Forest, we prioritize your child’s comfort and safety with our thoughtfully designed space. Our facility features 5 individual rooms, each equipped with solid walls (not room dividers) and large windows, providing an open, airy environment. Each room is specifically set up to cater to the unique needs of the children in our care, ensuring a tailored experience for all age groups.
To maintain security, our building is locked at all times. Entry is carefully controlled through a doorbell or fob system, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access the premises. Your child’s safety is our top priority, and we take every measure to provide a secure, welcoming environment.
Infant Room (3 to 18 months)
In our Infant Room, your baby will be nurtured and cared for in a calm, quiet environment that promotes both comfort and exploration. With a 1:4 ratio of infants to educators, each child receives attention and care. As your baby begins to discover the world around them, our dedicated educators will provide a secure and supportive space for them to explore, grow, and reach their developmental milestones. We focus on fostering a sense of safety and trust, helping your little one thrive in their early stages of growth.
Toddler Room (19 months to 3 years)
Toddlerhood is a time of rapid growth and discovery. In our Toddler Room, children begin to gain independence and explore new skills while expanding their vocabulary. With a 1:6 ratio of educators to toddlers, our team is dedicated to providing the support and guidance your child needs as they navigate this exciting stage of development. Our educators create a nurturing environment where toddlers feel empowered to learn, explore, and mature, all while fostering a sense of curiosity and self-confidence.
Preschool (3 years to 5 years/Kindergarten)
The preschool years are a crucial time for your child’s development. During this stage, children are exploring their world, testing personal boundaries, and recognizing their limits. They also begin to form lasting friendships, build confidence, and become more independent. With a 1:8/1:10 ratio (age-dependent), our educators are dedicated to guiding and supporting your child through these important milestones. Whether it’s fostering social skills, encouraging self-expression, or supporting early learning, we ensure that each child is nurtured in a positive, engaging environment where they can grow and thrive.
Kindergarten (5 years/Kindergarten)
As your child prepares for school, this is an exciting time of growth and readiness. In our Kindergarten program, your child will receive the support they need to confidently transition into formal schooling. Our educators work closely with each child to ensure they are prepared for school while also maintaining a balanced routine between school and childcare. With a 1:15 ratio, our educators play an active role in helping your child navigate this big milestone, offering guidance, encouragement, and support as they take on new experiences and responsibilities in their journey toward Kindergarten.
Out of School Care (Grades 1 – 6)
In our Out of School Care program, we ensure your child is safely transported to and from school each day. After school, our educators create a safe, cozy, and comforting environment where your child can unwind. Whether they choose to engage in self-led activities, arts and crafts, gross motor play, or simply relax with friends or books, there is always an option for them to explore and enjoy. With a 1:15 ratio, our educators are dedicated to supporting your child in all aspects of their growth and development as they continue to mature. Additionally, we are open on school professional development days, non-instructional days, and most school holidays, providing reliable care when you need it most.
